 There is a kind of tree known as the baobab tree that looks as if it's upside down. This topsy-turvy  tale retells one mith of how it came to look like that.

 Baobab tree was a talking tree. It was made by some African gods, long long ago.
The Baobab tree talked a lot. He was always complaining about every thing around him. 

Then, the gods got angry and grabbed the baobab tree and turned it upside down. So he couldn't open his mouth to talk.

When I read this story, I felt it is so cluel story. The baobab tree made himself upside down by god and he could never talk again.

Today, I read The Nightingale.
Actually, Yesterday, I read the story about nightingale in other series.
There were some different points between the both story about Nightingale.
In this story, the Nightingale came to the palace with pleasure, but in the other story, the Nightingale wanted to stay in forest.
It is interesting for me to find the differences.

Hard work

On Saturday, I had a part time job at the Japanese-style Bar. That day, all of the tables were full, so we are very very busy.
I did a lot of work; serve food, take order, make drink, wash the dishes and so on.
At around eleven, when I was putting glasses to the sideboard, my fatigue reached its peak. I dropped a grass and it was broken into pieces.
It was so shock for me. I was very sad......
However, the people working with me are very kind. They worried about whether I got injured or not. It was so impressed me.

The big dinosaurs are so cool and it is very impressive for me that dinosaurs' fossil, which became extinct millions and millions ago, is still remain now.
I want to go to the museum if I have a chance.

In the end, he saved Nineveh.

I want to have strong will and the power to believe like him.

This story wasn't so interesting.

I haveheard the title of this story. The princess of this story is one of the  popular Disney princesses.
However It was the first time for me to read this story to the end.

The little, cute baby bornned between a good, kind king and his queen. So they held the feast at the palace and invented six good fairies. However,the king forgot to invent the seventh fairy.
The wicked fairy suddenly appeared the palace and  coasted a spell that the princess will die.
But one good fairy putt a curse that she will sleep, instead of die.
100 years latter, the princess was helped by the kind prince and married with him.

Ariel and Flounder love to play hide-and-seek under the sea. One day, they played it with a baby seal.
Ariel was it, and she found Frounder in the sea plants soon. But she couldn't find a baby seal at any place.
After that, she found him but his tail was caught in a giant clamshell.
She tried to help him hard and finally, it opened and he was free!
Then, they hugged rand Ariel kissed him.

It was so easy and written in a few words.
A baby seal was so cute but I wonder where is Frounder at the last scene.

I love fruits but I didn't know well about these.

In this book, a lot of things about fruit, for example, how fruits grow up, the way that we can take fruit's nutrition efficientry, how good for our body to eat frruits and so on.

 

It was so interesting. I haven't see that we can eat the peal of peach! But I don't want to eat it because it has a lot of  fine far, so its texture isn't good.

I didn't eat fruit recently. So I'll eat some fruit for my own health.

 On the last day, the ski race was held. Participants are compete their speed to ski 10 kilometers.
 David and mark want to win the race at any cost. So they undo a screw in one of Sue's skis.
However, although Sue and Rebecca were unfavorable, they came first!!

I feel better after reading this book.
Sue and Rebecca are so cool because they didn't give up racing and win.


I have never skied in my life. So I want to ski durring my university life :)

I noticed that In The Frame, the book which was introduced in my previous post is next story from this Shooting Stars.

Lisa and Alice went to an island in the Greece on their holiday. They staied at the Hotel Oracle and enjoyed swimming in the sea and eating delicious food.

One day, they went to the museum and heard that their favorite actors are also staying the island. They hoped that they would meet them.

The next day, Alice went shopping and Lisa stayed at the hotel. Then, she found the famous actors at the other hotel near hers. However, they are arguing fiercely and at last, the women shouted the man! She was so surprised and panic.

However, actually, that was practice of their movie!

This story was interesting. I was so excited in the scene that the man was killed by his fiancé!

When they arrived at the airport in the England, her son says that he wants to go to the rest room.
So they suggest that they watch her luggages.
While she is going to the rest room with her son, Alice heard that the woman, Vera is a tthif who steals paintings from the island museum. She told about Vera to customs officers.
At last, Vera is arresed and it turnes out that the two children are Vera's sister's.


It was not bad story, but in my opinion, they had better not to take the reward money.
Good deed should not connected with money.

This is one of the most popular tales in the world. In Japan, It called Akazukin.

One day, a little girl visited her grand mother in order to bring some foods for her sick grand mother.
But there was very very hungry wolf on her way.
The wolf went to her grandmother's house sooner than the girl and ate the old women.
Then, he put on her night cap, laid on her bed and pretend to her.
The little girl reached grand mother's house with some foods and frowers. But she was also eaten by the wolf.

However, fortunetery, a woodsman heard her scream and helped she and her grand mother.

In Japanese Akazukin, the wolf is killled and filled his stomach with a lot of stones. Besides sunk in the pond. It is more cruel than the book.

I want to know the differences of this story between countries.

Happy Sunday!!

Last Sunday, I went to sea with SEASON SPOTS`s members.
I went there for the first time since I was 6 years old.
So I Had been looking for walking beach and swimming in the sea water.
Fortunately, we blessed with great weather. Sunshine lighted the grains of the sand, so beautiful.
I took some cute shells home from there as a memento.

I want to go there again next summer......

It was first time for me to read this series book.
In this book, a lot of things that related with the sea introduced. Creature, sea plants, marine sports and so on......
It was so interesting for me to know new things.
I'll try other books in this series.

Last class of pre-seminar, I went to the LLC and read the electronic book with ipad.

I read Little Red Riding Hood. I enjoyed to read it and play some games in the book.

It was so interesting, so I want to try ather stories.

Part time job

 I have a part time job at the Japanese-style bar for a month.
 I like my job because I can talk with many kinds of people and eat delicious staff meal.
When I working there, I always looking for eating staff meal...!
 Last Saturday, I ate Gyoza, Tempura of corn and Butanokakuni.
It was SOOOOO delicious! But I'll gain weight soon......😣
